Joy Esper
Joy's training philosophy is based on two beliefs: if you don’t use it, you will lose it and some is better than none.
Statistics show that it is never too late to begin exercising. Exercise will improve each participant’s wellness through the reduction and prevention of age onset diseases, improvement of balance and mobility, emotional stability, reduction of physical frailty, and overall enhancement with activities of daily living.
Joy has been in the fitness field for over thirty years, specializing in the Senior market for the past twenty. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Her specialized certification is in Personal Fitness Training & Group Exercise Training for Older Adults. Joy has trained with The American College of Sports Medicine, The Arthritis Foundation, The Alzheimer’s Association, Nautilus Northeast, and the Reebok Fitness Alliance. She has developed and implemented very successful trend-setting elder fitness programs in local retirement communities using The Esper Way.
